1- Negative TA1 Interchange Acknowledgment

error 22 (Invalid Control Structure)

• Two ISA/IEA combinations submitted in one physical file.

error 24 (Invalid Interchange Content)

• GS01 (Functional Identifier Code) invalid
• GS02 (Application Sender’s Code) does not match ISA06
• GS03 (Application Receiver’s Code) does not match ISA08
• GS08 (Version/Release) invalid
• Transaction not supported yet

2- Negative 997 Functional Acknowledgment

AK9 and no error code

• Duplicate file (Unique ID is not unique).

3- Other 997 or TA1 stating non-existing errors in the data sent or no response at all.

The following situations can cause unpredictable results:

• ISA06 (Interchange Sender ID) invalid
• ISA invalid length.  The ISA segment must be a fixed length of 106 bytes (including segment terminator).
• ST01 (Transaction Set Identifier Code) invalid
• Carriage Return/Line Feed (Cr-Lf) used as a delimiter (Only single byte characters should be used as delimiters, we recomend using ~ )
